As implied by it's name, in L.A Crackdown you play a cop whose fighting the war against narco-traffic. You will be assisted throughout the game with a young rookie, which will help you inspect rooms, interrogate suspects, make arrests and more.
If you liked "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego", you will probably like this one as well. It's interface is very much similar. You select your action from a list of actions, can select locations to go to, and more.

Bottom line - if your looking for graphics and gameplay, then this is not the game for you. However, if you look for mind triggering adventure games, you should try this one.
