Archon: The Light and the Dark is a part of the Archon series. This series is one of the oldest chess serials for gaming consoles like the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Commodore and many more, including this PC version.
As suitable for games released in 1984, the game has terrible PC Speaker sounds (which does make you miss them, in a bizzare way..) limited graphics, but did glue us to our CGA/EGA screens back at the 80's.
A true classic in chess games.
